To put it simply, without an active membership, there's no way to guarantee that the report you're delivering complies with all of the current UAD rules and regulations.

UAD rules and requirements are organic and are amended or adjusted from time to time. To accommodate these changes, your software must be updated in order to comply with the new UAD rules.

Without a membership, your a la mode software can't receive updates. This means that if your report were to be converted to the MISMO XML format required for UAD reports, it may not comply with the current UAD ruleset. If your report doesn't comply with the current rules, it will ultimately be rejected when submitted through the UCDP portal. This reflects poorly on your work, and because converted reports bear our company information, it would also reflect poorly on a la mode.

By requiring a membership to generate UAD-compliant MISMO XML files, we're ensuring that you always have the most current version of the UAD ruleset. This, in essence, certifies compliance and allows for an unimpeded submission through the UCDP portal.
