Who makes TrueTracts?

TrueTracts is a True Footage market analysis product that helps appraisers comply with the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac required monthly marketing analysis and time adjustments, and provides support for each in the appraisal report.

How does TrueTracts work?

Please see the TrueTracts website. They have several recorded trainings, descriptions, and an FAQ linked at the bottom of the page.

How do I sign up for TrueTracts? What do I need to purchase?

To use TrueTracts with TOTAL, you need two separate subscriptions: one for the TrueTracts Pro software from True Footage, and one for the TrueTracts integration in the TOTAL Store.

If you're a returning user, the process for your TOTAL integration subscription hasn't changed. However, when renewing your software with True Footage, you must ensure you're purchasing the Pro package. The Basic package from TrueTracts doesn't include "Formfiller Compatibility" and doesn't allow integration with TOTAL.

If you're a new user, follow these steps below to ensure the integration works correctly:

  1. First, go to the TrueTracts website to sign up for an account.

  2. Once your account is created, purchase the TrueTracts Pro package directly from True Footage.

  3. After you sign up for your account and the TrueTracts Pro package, visit the TOTAL Store to get your 25 report/30‑day trial of the TrueTracts integration with TOTAL.

When your free trial expires or you use all 25 reports, you'll need to purchase the monthly integration subscription from the TOTAL Store to continue using the TrueTracts integration with TOTAL.

What is the difference between TrueTracts Basic and TrueTracts Pro?

True Footage offers two versions of their product: a Basic version and a Pro version. Only TrueTracts Pro offers "Formfilling Compatibility" which is required for TOTAL integration.

If you purchase the Basic version of TrueTracts, you will not be able to import your data into TOTAL.

If I buy the TrueTracts integration for TOTAL, do I access TrueTracts in TOTAL?

No, TrueTracts is launched and used independently (outside of TOTAL). Once you're finished in TrueTracts you export the data as a TCDX file and then import it into TOTAL.
